You are invited to a night of HOPE…Help for Today, Hope for Tomorrow…celebrating 70 years of service. On Friday, April 22nd, we will enjoy a delicious meal, music by ‘Sunnyside’, and a Silent Auction starting at 6:00 p.m. at Boones Creek Christian Church, located at 305 Christian Church Road, Johnson City, TN 37615.
Sunnyside is an in-demand eclectic blend of contemporary, bluegrass, southern and traditional gospel music. Sunnyside has been together for 23 years and are well known in the East Tennessee/Southwest Virginia area. Members are Judi Castleberry (guitar and vocals) Konnie Lewis (bass and vocals) , Steve Lewis (lead guitar and banjo) and Vicki Shell (mandolin and fiddle). They are natives of the Johnson City/ Jonesborough area and although they are accomplished in other areas of music they have a real passion for delivering the gospel message in song.
