East Tennessee Christian Home & Academy (ETCHA) is looking for a Christian Married Couple to join our family. A mature female individual will also be considered for the position. As part of a couple, the male is permitted to work off campus or attend school during regular office hours while the wife will have responsibilities on campus.
ETCHA is a small, residential educational program serving at risk adolescent girls ages 12-21. The Houseparent Couple is instrumental in providing care and nurturing to up to 8 girls in a home-like setting.
The perfect candidate(s) will be at least 24 years of age, married for at least one year, have a high school diploma and a minimum of one year of childcare experience. A college degree is a plus. They will demonstrate sound Biblical principles and demonstrate servant leadership behaviors. Must be able to pass a background check as well as clean driving record.
Houseparents will be provided a competitive salary as well as an off duty one bedroom apartment with Wi-Fi access, cable and utilities provided. A $50 cell phone reimbursement is also provided. A room with a bathroom is also provided within the dorm living space when on duty with the girls. This couple will work 4 days each week with three days off duty.
